Car = stress

Well this time next week i should have started work on the project and now be typing up my 1st propper report on how the rebuild is going - to say im rather excited would be an understatement lol!

However the last week and a bit have proven mighty stressful to say the least:

1st i find out my rear passenger ITR trailing arm is bent so ive been rushing around trying to sort another trailing arm out - with new bush only the sodding screws are seized in fast - arrrg!! taking the thing into work tommorow hope to god i can drill them out!

next my wifes EG4 Civic LSi started playing up, stalling and "kangaroo" jumping and being very hesitant on acceleration. After stressing for the last week or so i took it all to bits couldnt find anything worn bput it all back and sudenly its all wokring hunky doory - all this only a few wks after the cam belt snapped oops!

And lastly im still waiting to hear IF i can go pick the car up this saturday from manchester, it better be ready or there WILL be hell to pay!!! They have had all the parts for almost a month how long does it take FFS!

Anyway thats just the main things that are stressing me right now so feel free to skip reading them next time ;)

On wards and upwards i guess :D

On plus side i got my new ITR front upper strutbrace, my ITR radiator, ITR rear calipers, some EG6 VTi clocks/Dials and a nice B16B N1 Race pully!

N1 Pully:

A std honda part, i think it was fitted to the "EK9 Type-Rx" wich didnt have air con or P/S or something... anyway as i have neither also i thought i would get one as i was offered one for a good price.

It weights 828g but i dont think ill be fitting it for a good long while, im a bit worrie about chnaging it and unballancing the bottom end - not good considering how much it cost me! But ill put it somehwere sfae and get the whole bottom end ballance at some point.

Teg Radiator install:

As i mentioned in my previous post, i had made some custom lower mounts - tho they needed drilling and cutting to the right lenght which with the arrival of my teg rad i could now test fit it to my old shell!

So after enlisting the help of my brother we got under way, and its so far pritty good :)

The lower mounts shown here have been cut to length and after one minor drilling mistake are now painted with 2 coats of gray galvinised paint - and then a quick coat of black spray paint to give them some protection.

The top mountings still need some work, i was hoping to adapt a pair of std civic rad supports but they dont seat right, so ive got some teg ones on the way which i can adapt to fit better!

I also managed to get some erm... "unique" shots from inside the engine bay, i sat inside while my bro placed the bonnet on and closed it!

It also gave me the chnace to see if it would clear the rad cap, and the top supports - which it did nicely!

Its a mad last week dash to get all the right odds and sods parts i keep thinking of, and i hope it all comes intime (great planning by me i know). Giving the body shop a call tommroow so pls keep all fingers and toes crossed for good news - either way i shall report back tommroow night, i hope ill be in a good mood not a bad one :D
