Screwed over, a good find, and less than 24hrs to go....

Hi everyone

Yet again i must apologise for not updating for ages...... this is mainly due to everything going very very tits up at the last second and, if you hadn't guessed by the name change - all plans have changed, but its all happened so fast i didn't wanna go posting anything up till i knew for 100% sure what was going on.

Basicaly ill try not to go into too much detail, but the body shop after 7 and a half weeks of having all my body pannels, the go ahead etc - hadnt even made 1% of a start on the new shell - so i told them to jack the whole thing in - i hadnt payed for anything (not even the shell). So after picking up my body pannels and bring it back home i was back to square one.

The shell is still for sale at chartist garage in manchester:http://www.chartistgarage.co.uk/ if anyone in the uk is intrested. It is a very very nice shell - just in primer gray but i wanted my car done for japfest back in may.... then done for Japs (2nd of july) and thanks to being messed about ive missed both those dates - but ill be damned if im missing JAE at the end of july due to other peoples incompetance! (for anyone not in the uk these are all big japanese car shows in the uk)

So if anyone wants it - your welcome to it.....

After being left with a hulk of a shell in the form of an ESi and loads of bits - i needed a new project car, after speaking with freinds they surgested looking into getting a 1.3 DX - its the base model EG hatch sold in the uk, with its 1.3L carb engine, no mod cons, no sun roof, no bump strips, and only weighs in at 920kg's - it sounded perfect if only i could find a good condition one - in like 3 days - yeah like thats gonna happen ???

So me being me i managed to find one lol

J reg (no cat needed for mot)
91.5K miles
no rust
good condition body work
17 inch chrome alloys
Lexarse rear lights
Pioneer and infinity sound system
Clifford Cat 1 alarm and imob
And its white - which is fine with me - ok ok i know it was my life long dream to own a yellow one, but after much soul searching (and i wnat the car done this side of the year 3000) i decided the package was much much more importnat than some colour (as long as it wasnt tiheititititit green ;) )

So i went down, offered him £750 without the wheels (not shockingly) - offer accept and now its my new project car! All the rest of the plans stay the same, just im starting with a very light shell and the colours diffrent ;)

so here it is:

The biggest problem is - its too nice!! the interior is perfect, the engine is sweet - it seams a shame to me to "destroy" it but im sure ill get over such thoughts rather quickly once its all done ;)

Yay chavtastic rear lights!!!
